After practicing in various locations throughout the United States and overseas, I am thrilled to have recently settled in Phoenix.
Who are my clients?
During my career, I have worked with a wide range of mental health issues—from personal growth concerns to severe psychopathology. This has given me a strong background for helping clients address a variety of issues.
My main areas of expertise are mood, anxiety, relationships, and overall wellness. I see adults, ages 18 and up. In addition to individual therapy, I also specialize in couples therapy.
Many of my clients are high-functioning, talented people who are working through difficult situations or life transitions. Often clients are dealing with anxiety, mood, and/or relationship issues. Some clients feel like they are at a low point and that they struggling in multiple areas of their lives.
Whether you feel like your concerns are big or small, I would be happy to help you make the changes that are important to you.
Why I love what I do
I view being a psychologist as a calling, of sorts. While life is an amazing gift, it can also be incredibly challenging and painful at times. Helping people find their way through these difficult periods is deeply satisfying. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing clients face their challenges and come out the other side feeling stronger and more satisfied with their lives.
I also love the intellectual challenge of being a psychologist. Each client’s situation presents a new puzzle, and a big part of my job is figuring out what will be most helpful. Much to my delight, the field of psychology continues to evolve. I thoroughly enjoy studying the latest research, and this helps me provide clients with the quality care they deserve.
Working as a psychologist and living throughout the world has opened my heart to the diverse paths that people’s lives can take. I am deeply grateful that this line of work has brought so many wonderful people into my life.
