In other words, it’s essential that you both trust and feel comfortable with your therapist. It’s also important that you find a therapist who has expertise working with the issues you are experiencing. I encourage you to “shop around” for a therapist who is compatible with you and your needs.
In order to get a better idea of whether I would be a good fit for you, I ask all prospective clients to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation prior to setting up an initial appointment.
